It’s easy to think that Rolling like a ball is just a back massage. Or that Seal is weird and don’t even try open leg rocker. But…. there is so much good stuff happening in these rolling exercises. And even if you think your tailbone will hate it trust LL if you’re doing it right you will not be perching on your coccyx.
Join Lesley Logan for a 30 min Pilates mat class designed for you to do anywhere you can lay down! Seriously, Pilates was designed on the mat first. Sometimes we can’t get to a studio, can’t leave the house, office or we are off traveling. Lesley’s mat class is perfect for your 30 min window dedicated to all things you. Turn your notifications off and lay out your mat (or even a towel) and get connected to your mat.
As a Pilates instructor, I practice Pilates at least three, mostly four times a week. I practice what I teach! I want my clients doing Pilates with me or at home a few times a week and maybe a few minutes extra on their off days. When you do Pilates something amazing happens. Your mind focuses solely one what you are doing in that moment. The whirlwind slows, the angst, nerves, stress and excitement of the day take a chill pill for that moment.
You plan your next trip back to do it all over again! … We arrived here on Sunday, March 5th, and our personal tuk-tuk driver Poly took us to our retreat space. I knew this space would be unique and calm. I was not expecting it to be this artistic oasis with plenty of meditation spots, hammocks, mango trees with branches that provided a canopy from the Cambodian sun and bungalows with handmade mosaic floors.
After more blood tests, breath tests, a colonoscopy, an endoscopy, rounds of antibiotics and then more blood tests, oh, and one visit to the infectious disease specialists I took a massive leap. I had heard of this guy who used to work with NASA doing research. He realized his research could help more people and he started his company that many professional and Olympic athletes use. My husband’s business partner used him based on a referral of another client of his.
As I write this post I am hours away from a call with hopefully my last attempt to living life without wondering can I eat this? If I eat this how will I feel?
I going to just get super freaking honest here. I try to not be jealous of anyone. It happens, but usually, I take note and move on.
Hello, my name is Lesley, I often go by LL. I am a wife to a lovely man who rocks my world and supports me like crazy, mom to two Pitt Bulls Gaia and Bayon, a Pilates instructor, Pilates business coach, and a sufferer of digestive issues.
Last night I reached a breaking point. I went to bed with stomach pain again. It wasn’t my first breaking point around this issue. I have no idea if it will be my last. I certainly hope so…
Retreats! They are not just for Yogi’s anymore.
One of my dreams and goals is to teach Pilates all over the world. This year I have been making that magic happen. I have a Pilates retreat in Cambodia, one in Maui, Hi and this June I’m teaming up with my Pilates Day Retreats partner and bringing you a much requested Pilates Retreat in Ojai, Ca.
I cannot believe that Jeni Del Pozo and I have now led four Pilates Day Retreats since our launch! It’s pretty crazy how a little idea (we should be doing Pilates Retreats) and a couple of almond milk latte’s birthed what is now Pilates Day Retreats. We have toured all of Los Angeles and all over the Pilates studio, and we are now taking our Pilates Retreats to Your Neighborhood Studio in Culver City, CA.
I am beyond excited for my Pilates Retreat in April of 2017! Besides my love for Spring I am honored to share a week of Pilates classes, workshops and the beaches of Maui, Hawaii with my friend, colleague and incredible Pilates instructor Arlene Taus Soloman.
