A trip to Angkor Wat is already on your “bucket list” check that box off in 2017 by joining me on a journey of a lifetime. Arriving on a Sunday evening at Siem Reap, Cambodia airport I’ll have your Tuk-Tuk driver already there. They will bring you to our resort. Blue Indigo located in downtown Siem Reap. We will have the whole resort to ourselves and enjoy Vegetarian meals made on site. This retreat has daily Pilates mat classes, two workshops and two days touring the Temples with a guide. What are you waiting for?
Almost one year ago I landed in Siem Reap, Cambodia on my Honeymoon. Our Tuk-Tuk driver picked us up and took us to our hotel. As we rode along the main drag from the airport to town the smell of food cooking on the street took over our attention. Friends and families were gathered together enjoying meals and celebrating life. I looked at my husband and told him “my soul is home.” I could feel the magic in the air.
We awoke early the next morning to grab a coffee and get our tickets to tour the Temples of Angkor. Our guide made sure we were able to see the sunrise at Angkor Wat. We took a look at ourselves in the reflection pool and then it was off for a day filled with the Temples and jungle of Angkor.
On our Retreat, we will see Temples over the course of two days. Your retreat covers the cost of a full week at the Temples, so you are welcome to go back to anyone of them during your free time! I could go back to the Temple of Bayon and Preah Khan daily. They are my favorite.
On this retreat, we will have daily mat classes and two workshops to help you dive in deep to your Pilates practice. No matter where you are in the world, you can do Pilates mat. That was Joseph Pilates dream! My dream is to help you find the connection to your body using Pilates. What better way to take time for your mind-body connection then to go around the world and see the works of those who lived there around 1200. No distractions just you, your friends and the magic of Angkor.
